Ron Hanton - East Flegg

Ron Hanton was born and raised in Great Yarmouth and served the Local Community as a Police Officer for thirty-one years, finally attaining the rank of Inspector.

During his career his postings included Somerton, Winterton and Hemsby, Caister (and the surrounding villages), Great Yarmouth and Gorleston.  As such, has a good working knowledge of the local area.

A keen sportsman, for many years Ron played football for Hemsby.

A former leader of the Great Yarmouth Conservative Group, Ron also previously served as a Norfolk County Councillor.  Currently he is a Borough Councillor for the Ormesby Ward, which also encompasses Scratby and California.

Ron has devoted much of his life towards raising money for numerous worthy and charitable causes.  Currently he is the Chairman of a local Scout Group.

Ron is a very experienced man with a proven track record.  If elected, he pledges to work hard for all the residents.
