Joe Mooney - Wymondham

I have lived in Wymondham since 1983 with my wife, Catherine. We have four grown up children and two granddaughters. I spent most of his working life in the retail trade employed as a Transport Manager for one of the city’s largest stores.

I am absolutely delighted to have been selected once again to stand as a candidate for Norfolk County Council. It has been my privilege to represent the residents of Wymondham on Norfolk County Council for the last 8 years.

I have helped secure funds from the council for a variety of projects within the town such as funding for all of the town’s school’s current extension projects.  I was also instrumental in securing funds for a number of footway and road repairs around Wymondham, eg: the new cycleway along Harts Farm Road. I secured funding from the District Council for the various voluntary groups in the town and supported SNCs Leisure Centre refurbishment project.
