Glyn Williams - North Walsham West & Erpingham

I have lived in Swanton Abbott near North Walsham for twelve years and am currently District Councillor for the Worstead Ward.

Over my twenty-seven years of working and serving in local government I have come across many cases when work between the county and the district councils could have been improved. Having better links to the local community through a councillor able to work at both levels has many benefits.

Local councils are facing severe challenges. I believe my mix of broad local authority experience can make a real difference in creating new ways of working at both the local level and at County Hall.

Local voices have to be heard when setting policies and plans for the future. I will ensure that happens, focussing on local community issues and the wider issues important to us all such as opportunities for young people and adult social care.

Best wishes,

Glyn
