Alex Oliver - North Walsham East

Alexander Oliver, 24, works as an office administrator in North Walsham and as a squash, tennis and table tennis coach.

Alexander is very interested in music and comedy, presenting a show on Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Radio and performing stand-up comedy, with regular slots at two Norwich venues.

He also writes for and performs on ‘Norfolk New Comedy Show’ and volunteers on ‘Introducing in Norfolk’, helping new music artists showcase their work. If elected, Alexander will support policies that increase jobs and opportunities for students in North Walsham; and which will encourage the growth of entertainment in North Walsham.

Alexander is standing for election as he believes politics should involve young people and have regard to their interests and futures. He believes that local policies are too often decided by people who are retired and who are no longer closely in touch with the needs and aspirations of his generation.
