The Cabinet meets monthly in public to make decisions on behalf of the Council. It consists of 9 members of the ruling administration (currently Labour/Lib-Dem) and includes all the members with responsibilities for particular service areas (portfolios).
It is responsible for the general administration of the Council, including the management and control of County Council finances.
